Why is my iTunes always trying to access the iTunes store?

When i'm listening to music, at the top of the page on iTunes, it says its trying to access the iTunes store and this goes on for hours and hours and it does this everytime I open iTunes... and I have never bought anything from the iTunes store nor do I try to access it! What gives? It's annoying cause I can't fast forward any songs or do anything else when it does this!|||go to edit at the top of itunes%26gt;preferences%26gt; parental controls. disable itunes store. if it doesnt stop it sorry %26gt;.%26lt;
