Everytime I try to connect to the iTunes store, I get an error message?

I just upgraded to the newest version of iTunes. Everytime I try to get to the iTunes store, I get this error message:








iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store.


Make sure your network connection is active and try again.





What can I do to fix this?|||I have researched the issue, and I have found that many other users are experiencing the same issue. It is being associated with the upgrade. The issue should be resolved shortly. My advice is to wait patiently for the next few days.
