I don't own an IPod, but I bought a $15 ITunes Gift Card at the store, so I could listen to some music while I surf the internet. I wanted to ask those of you who have used a gift card, or bought songs from ITunes before a question. I redeemed the card and had to give my address and other personal info out. So after I signed up I starting picking out some songs. I recieved an email yesterday telling me that I have been billed, to what looks like my home address.
I'm just wondering if I'm only going to be getting an email saying I was billed, or am I actually going to recieve a letter in the mail?. I don't understand why they would need my address in the first place if I have a gift card?! Can someone please help me?!|||Itunes will send you an email everytime you buy somehting from the itunes store. if you also have a credit card that the songs will come from when the gift card runs out of money. The billing address is the address of where you live so the bank or credit card people can contact you incase the process doesn't go through.,.|||ok, If you went over the limit yes you will be getting a bill, if you didn't then no, it is a satement saying where you bought the songs. If in your email the subject has your receipt, then no you are not being billed, but other wise yes

Every time i try and access the itunes Store it says " itunes store is temporally unavailable. Please try again later" It has been saying this for about 2 months now. What's wron and how do i fix it?|||Reinstall itunes

My store won't load! It loads one my main computer which has the router but it doesn't load on my laptop. The message appearing is "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. The network connection has timed out. Make sure your network setting are correct and your network connection is active, and try again." I tested the connection and everything and the Internet browser (Firefox) works and everything and yet there's this problem. Please help me! 10 points for best solution! Why does my iTunes store screen always disappear?

First of all, make sure your computer has a DVD drive. If it doesn't, you won't be able to do this. It seems obvious but it's amazing how often it gets overlooked.
If you do have a DVD drive, you will be able to import onto your computer. However, you will need a converter program in order to make it playable on your iPod, since the iPod format is different and DVDs have copy protection format on them.
A good converter to use is DVDfab platinum. Click the link below in order to go to the site, where you can download the trial version. It has worked for me very well, and contains no viruses. The trial version is exactly the same as the full version but limited to a 30-day period.
In order to be able to use the trial version for more than 30 days, you will need a program such as date cracker, which I have also provided a link for.
Download and install both programs, then open date cracker. Click “add”, and enter in whatever you want to call the program. Browse on your computer for the DVDfab program, and then tell it to run the program on date cracker. Follow the instructions given. (If you get a run-time error, you did the steps in the wrong order %26lt;"Add", then find the program, then enter the run date, then "Run"%26gt;)

Well i want to convert some music that i bought from the itunes store but its all protected and its in m-peg layer 4 format and i want to put it on my phone but my phone won't recognise the file type! Is there a way to convert this annoying format into an mp3?|||Your songs wouldnt be in mp4 format. That is a video format. Your itunes purchases are in the protected aac format. You can easily get around this. First change the default on your itunes to be mp3 instead of aac. (this is just a good idea in general because only itunes and ipod uses aac and every program uses mp3)
Do this by opening itunes and under edit/preferences/advanced/import change from aac to mp3.
Then make a playlist of the protected songs (only enough to burn to 1 cd at a time which is 1.2 hours) and burn that cd. Once the cd is burned it will appear in your itunes. Click on that cd and import the cd. Dont take the cd out of the burner because if you do you will lose all the info. If you directly reimport the music without taking the cd out itunes will still recognize the song and artist, etc. If you take the cd out and then put it back in, it wont. It will just say track 1, 2, etc.
After you have reimported the songs the music will now be in the unprotected mp3 format.
It sounds a bit complicated but it only takes about a minute to set it up and then the time to burn the cd and reimport.

Why is the itunes app store on my computer not working?
Everything else on my itunes store will open normally except when I click on the app store so that I can look at games to purchase. The page turns blank and instead of the bar that loads up the top, there is just a yellowed screen with the apple logo in the middle. This keeps happening and the page just will not load. How can you prompt the iTunes store to offer the 4.0 software update for the iPod?
Most applications now require at least the 3.0 update, but I can't seem to find it on the iTunes store anymore. I know that they're offering the 4.0 update, now. My iTunes store is loading extremely slow - any idea what may be causing this?
I have a PC running Windows Vista with 3 user accounts on it. All 3 accounts have administrator privileges without restrictions. One of the accounts has absolutely no problems loading iTunes Store in a few seconds, but the other two accounts require you to walk away as it can take more than 10-15 minutes before the iTunes Store is ready to be used. Why does the iphone need to be on a wifi connection to acess itunes music store?
I understand wifi and everything, but there is one thing I don't get. How come apple made the iphone music store that you have to be on wifi to access it? I know that edge access would be slower, but that can't really be an excuse. How many artists are available through the iTunes store?
I'm writing a term paper and was wondering if anyone has the actual number of artists that have music on the iTunes store. If not an exact number, a round estimate (over so many million) would be appreciated.|||It is hard to answer because they add artist all the time. But one of my favourite bands broke up and now one of them only sells his stuff through itunes. I know the Itunes Store application is integrated into the Itunes Software, but how does it know what store based on your country to take you too. And again, does it use/see your external IP Address (meaning one that gets seen by websites, that shows your city/state), or your internal IP Address that some other applications use to connect, such as Microsoft Word, etc) to connect.|||I believe iTunes has, in effect, a web browser built into it and the store pages are more-or-less web pages. How do I connect to the itunes store?
Suddenly out of no where I can't connect to the itunes store. The error says there is no internet connection. It's not the firewall. I've redownloaded itunes and it still doesn't work. The last but not least, most probably you’ll be able to access itunes using a proxy software. Search for “ultrasurf”. Download and run it (it’s free). You can now use the itunes store, but it’s TOO slow!

When I re-downloaded iTunes, for some reason when I go to the iTunes store option (the one at the side, above 'Shared' %26amp; below 'Radio') it always goes to the Application Store. Itunes could not connect to the itunes store makesure your network is active and try again, what does it mean?
On my laptop it has never connected me to my itunes store. Its soooo annoying. And i've just updated my itunes and its still not working with my new nano. I really would appreciate help!|||Either your Internet isn't working properly, or your Internet is so slow that it took to long and iTunes gave up.
I would suggest restarting your Internet.
And that should fix your problem, but if it doesn't. Then just email apple and they will help you out!

How do you disable the itunes store and the app Store on the new iPhone?
My son has an iphone and I need to disable the itunes store and app store or take it off the phone. I know that it is possible because I know of people that has had this done before. They have taken the icons off of the home screen. I need this information as soon as possible|||You can use the Parental Controls from the Settings. I try to get on the iTunes store, but it says iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store. Make sure your network connection is active and try again. I dont know what to do. How do you add songs from the iTunes store to a playlist in iTunes 9?
With the old version of iTunes, (iTunes 8) you could click and drag any song from the iTunes store to a playlist, and you could then gift those songs, or publish them as an iMix. With the new iTunes, (iTunes 9) the capability of clicking and dragging songs from the store to a playlist seems to be gone. Does anyone know of a way to add songs from the iTunes store to a playlist in iTunes 9?

When trying to purchase a song from the iTunes store, it said they didn't have it at the US store and would have to switch to the British store. Now I can't switch back to the US store. Any ideas on how to do this?! I've tried everything I know how to do.|||The store you are in is always displayed at the bottom of the page in the iTunes store. To change it, you click on it and select, that should always be available.

There is a drop-down list there. Choose the UK store. You may need to enter a (presumably fake) address from somewhere in the UK. Any gift cards you had on your account will be deleted, and your account will be switched to the UK store.|||yes you back up your songs and ect. then sign out transfer to uk then sign in and put in all your songs if they are gone.
