How can you find out the network on your PC to access iTunes store and Wi-Fi to download on my iPod touch?

Having problems trying to download the iTunes store over Wi-Fi. Can you please provide information regarding how to do this? Is there something special that is needed to do this?|||whoever is the admin or owner of the wifi would have to give you that information typically it is found on the router
